Cayce Wedding
Cayce is a city located in Lexington County, South Carolina, along the Congaree River. As of July 2003, the city had an estimated population of 12,388, about 2% more than the 2000 census figure of 12,150.
The city was incoporated in May 1914.
With a rich historical heritage, the City of Cayce includes the site of one of the earliest European settlements in what was then known as the "back country." Cayce also contains the site of Fort Granby, where several important Revolutionary War battles were fought. In May 1914 when the city was formed, the name Cayce was chosen to honor one of its prominent citizens, William J. Cayce.
Today, Cayce is the home of more than 12,100 citizens. Linked to the interstate system at multiple points and adjacent to the international airport, Cayce offers quick access to jobs, shopping, entertainment and the world. Because of Cayces convenient location, additional cultural and recreational amenities of the Midlands are just minutes away.
